I am a middle-aged man living in West Sussex. I'm a father to two children who are both growing up fast and a son to parents that are adjusting to retirement life. I'm also a husband.
I spent the first half of my career within the corporate/agency world and after a decade I realised that I wasn't getting much out of my job. I enjoyed the people and the environment, however, something was lacking from what I was doing.
I trained at the Minster Centre, one of the leading Psychotherapy schools in the UK, as an Integrative Counsellor and this means that I use several different approaches in my practice that I adjust depending upon how each client responds.
As part of my studies, I covered Existential, Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Body Psychotherapy together with a Relational approach with diversity at its core. In laymen's terms, it means that I've covered a broad range of different theoretical approaches combined with an understanding of what makes us all different.
